The Moderate Party is a slightly socially progressive, pseudo-centrist political party, which currently exists in the region of Liberalia. We're looking for Centrists, Moderates, Liberals and Social Democrats to come and consider joining us. The Party welcomes anyone with ideas and anyone is welcome to contest the leadership. We usually take part in Liberalia's elections, which occur every 2 months, and which we have won three times. Currently, the Party is a member of a coalition government headed by progressive socialists, and which also contains Liberals, some Libertarians, and a Communist. In recent times, we have been losing some of our members (we are the oldest party in Liberalia) and we are hoping to attract new players and old hands to come and discuss political issues, and join up. The party's main activities are as follows:
1. Writing laws and bills for the Liberalian legislature
2. Discussing key ideals and policies
3. Organising a Party Newspaper Publication, "The Moderate Champion."
4. Polling opinion, using the Moderate Party Think Tank
5. Taking part in regional elections and polls.
Currently, the Party has two ministers in the Cabinet, various secretaries of state, and three members of the Judiciary in it. All are welcome to join and help out. Your levels of activity are entirely up to you. If you are already an "old hand," but are looking for a new challenge, please feel free to take advantage of Liberalia's liberal puppet laws.
