What is the Pantheon?

A couple of months ago one of my statistics programs stumbled across the region of Pantheon (http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index.cgi/page=display_region/region=pantheon). It's slighty spooky - 26 nations each with a population of about 5.8 billion and the motto 'Owari wa Hajimari, Hajimareba Owaru', just sitting there like some sleeping giant.

There are also some cryptic posts in the CivilHQ:

The Wheel of The Ages turns, and the River of Time flows.

An Age long past, known now as the First Age, known as the Age of Beginnings, has faded from history to legend, from legend to myth. The myth, is now about to become forgotten, until the Wheel turns once more, and the Age returns again.

There once was a group of nations at the beginning of Time, before the wheel had begun to turn. Known separately as D'Hara, Midgard, and Aloria, these three regions came together to form a Federation, strong in numbers, united in cause. As such, the First Age began.

The Age of a once-powerful empire, with powerful allies, who reigned over the regions of Asgard; Deaths Gate; Final Omega 000; Nifelheim; North Alekia Moria Gallery; South Alekia Moria Gallery; and East Alekia Moria Gallery. Allied to the Delgos Alliance, the Shallsea Protectorates, the Ringing Phone, Many Ducks and the Oj-Docsian Anarchies, as well as the region of WWSETI and Zelph, this empire, along with the network of relations and alliances, was to be feared.

The age of the Phase Alliance.

Now, that Age, the Age of the Phase Alliance, the Age of Beginnings, the First Age is long gone.

The Second Age, the Age of Joining, saw new nations arise from the primordial dust of chaos and nothingness. The Phase Alliance disintegrated from a loose federation of nations, into a strong Empire, the Planck Confederation. New allies were made, trade developed, economies flourished, and technology grew in these times of peace.

The Second Age ended in a firestorm of death and destructuion, having grown complacent with the comfort of peace.

A Third Age dawned upon the ashes of the Planck Confederation. The crimson and white petals of the ROSE Alliance glistened with the dew of the morning sun. The winds of renewal blew, as this empire reborn once again looked to the sky.

Their allies had long fallen away, turned back into dust by the River of Time: WWSETI has long since undergone revolutions and changes in leadership; communications with Zelph has become sporadic and indirect, and our Regional Allies have fallen back into the chaos of nothingness.

Yet the ROSE Alliance of the Third Age fell victim to the same mistake as the Planck Confederation of the Second Age did: Having grown complacent, they grew lax in their vigilance.

Project DRAGOON was allowed to flourish unsupervised. This Genetic Engineering Project transformed the people of the ROSE Alliance; an internal Revolution. This Revolution destroyed Alliance Society and everything that they knew about life; it changed the people into something different, something unexpected, something... new.

The Former Rose Alliance of the Phoenix Reborn, once the Leader of the Rose Alliance, and Scribe of the Ages, now begins a new Era in History.

Heralding a new era, the Phoenix Reborn thus declares the start of the Fourth Age: The Age of the Pantheon.

The Phoenix Reborn hereby marks the first complete cycle in the PANTHEON.

I'm thinking it's a role play thing.

A pretty kick-ass roleplay thing, in my opinion. Wish I had thought of it when I first started.
