Hello and I am getting into NS quite quickly here and I have got to say that it interests me quite a bit. I am very interested in becoming part of a politically oriented region so if you are a part of one let me know.

I am a Democratic Socialist, so I support a classless society (or as close as we can get) and social welfare, but dont much care for the vanguard (which yields dictators) nor do I wish necessarily for a violent revolution (if it can be avoided by using the present system) as that too can easily form dictatorships of the winners (Cuba is my big example).

Please, let my opinions stand as this thread is for me finding a like-minded region or at very least, a region I can discuss these ideas with in peace. If you'd like, I would gladly discuss the full extent of my political feelings in a General thread. TG me a link or something and we can talk.

I am really interested in getting into a politically oriented region so post here if you think yours is worthy to be looked into. I want a semi-active region too so that I can get in some discussing, but my main thing here will be getting into the General forum and reading and discussing topics there.

Um. Why wouldn't we?
I've seen many a Gameplay thread be consumed into debate and scuffles, and I just didnt want that for this thread.. I just want to find a suitable region, my opinions can be debated and tested in General. :D

Join The Republic!

We are an active future tech alliance/region composed of many great nations who come together under the Senate. Within the Senate, you can bring up basically any political ideal and try to pass it, or if your not appointed to the Senate, make your opinion heard within the People's Assembly, the second in command next to the Senate.

In conclusion, we are a political region as you want, and with our systems you can voice your opinion fairly, as you wanted.

The Republic sounds good, however with terms like "an active future tech alliance/region" and "the People's Assembly, the second in command next to the Senate" it sounds very much more like a roleplaying region than a serious political oriented region.

Unless you can disprove that, I will have to decline respectfully. :)

My apologies Kenny, I meant to comment on your suggestion as well in my last post but got distracted.

I have an interesting view on capitalism which leads me to not wish to join the ACA. I think that capitalism is necessary and useful as a stepping stone toward socialism, which is why I am not 100% against capitalism.. ie I dont want to join an region dedicated against it.

If that makes sense then I respectfully decline :)

We do roleplay quite a bit, but then that's fun isn't it? Didn't know you weren't looking for that type of region.

If you are an economist or of a devine bloodline, you are welcome to this newly started region the familytree of devine bloodline, I´m the only one there at the moment so you can pick your own geography on the map...
