Alternatives to RP War

My region is relatively new and we're just getting around to starting wars. We've noticed that most wars on the NS Forum are strictly IC roleplaying, and we're looking for an alternative. We're open to a bit of RPing, but would prefer to include some kind of mathematical formula. In real life (off the forums and whatnot), we've been throwing around the ideas of rolling dice, with each number having some significance (% of army lost or success/failure, etc.) The most ambitious idea is to devise some kind of Flash game for our wars (using the regional map), but we worry that NS will lose its significance.

So, we're just wondering how our fellow world neighbors attack the problem of not having any way to wage war on NS.

You can view the thread on our forum here:

Feel free to reply as a Guest on our forum or to reply in this forum.

While I'm at it (since we're in the Gameplay forum), Central York is looking for motivated nations (i.e. willing to be active in our forum) of any ideology, so feel free to look around the forum and maybe even join Central York.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

The Honor Guard just uses our own calculator for the purposes of RPing warfare, its by no means realistic but neither is NS nor are the Trackers. We find that it works quite well and we have been satisfied with it.

There are also several other military calculators in use... for instance, Western Europe uses this one (http://home.hetnet.nl/~henkwillems/war_rules.htm), (or in calculator form here (http://we.havocaos.com/army-calc.asp)) and other regions are bound to use their own engines for war roleplay. Qlestine, for instance, you could link to your region's calculator to allow Panaxia to find it without digging through the Honor Guard forum. You can examine all of these, and then design one you feel would be appropriate to your region.

Yes, its true I could have linked it, but I personally feel like he was asking for more computed calculators not one like mine. And he shouldnt have to dig far on our forum, its right there in the Roleplay forum ;) But in any case here it is because you do make a point (of sorts) http://z13.invisionfree.com/The_Honor_Guard/index.php?showtopic=5 If you feel like thats the sort of thing your looking for, TG me or something.
