Greetings, esteemed leaders, from the European Union. I hope you can take time to read this and hopefully join our great region.
The European Union holds a rich history in NationStates. A democratically functioning region, we combine aspects of the real-world EU with our own perceptions to create a strong, politically-diverse region in which all nations prosper. After a year of turmoil, the EU has rebuilt itself into a prominent player in world politics and has overcome the problems that faced us only months ago. Our region is no longer intolerant of certain political ideologies and we hope that all members feel comfortably at home whilst residing in the EU.
We're in the middle of developing histories for active nations, and we're looking forward to engaging and exciting role play between members of the EU and our allies.
The constant debate on IC and OOC matters; the democratic elections; the battle of wills on UN matters - these are what make us the same as other regions. But the willingness, respect and co-operation of nations; the diversity; the general feeling of good-will - these are things that no other region can replicate and which make us unique from the thousands of others.
So, join the region, become a member of the forum, run for Government. Whatever you want to do, the European Union can satisfy your desires. To join, it's 3 simple stages;

2. Enter 'European Union' into the Regional Search engine
3. Click 'Move (your nation) to the European Union today!'
