How do we find a nation to join so we don't have to just play by ourselves,I am new to this and I made a nation so my friends would join and they never came, so how can I join a nation.Do I have to be invited first?[/COLOR]ic Sans MS"]

Do you mean a region? Click the link in my sig if you want to be in Adelaide. That's been my region since I first started on NS.

is there really a difference if you switch regions? ive been in the same region since the beginning (east pacific) and have not really considered leaving, unless doing so would benefit me at all.

It doesn't really matter, except that some people have the attitude that Pacific types are all newbs ('cause that's where you start). Oh, and if you move to some regions, they'll want you to RP on the forums, or whatever.

Well, I don't know about "benefiting" *shakes fist at damned capitalists, everything's always about personal gain :p*, but if your region is boring or you don't get on with your neighbors - why not move to greener pastures?

i dont really talk to my neighbors, and it is rather boring. dunno where i would switch to though, everything looks the same to me.

It didn't used to be like that, it used to be filled with all my friends (well, a lot fo them) and they named it after the fictional town my plays are set in. But they got bored with it all and never took to the forums so thier nations died one by one. I had a series of puppets, Eternia Reborn based on the concept that Skeletor was the victim of a very successful propoganda program from He-Man and in reality had a better plan for Eternia, The Island of Monsters, a land ruled by Godzilla and friends, and Acme Products an idea that I never followed through on of selling Rube Goldberg style machines and weapons that didn't work that well in the role-playing section. For that one I wasn't sure that the rpers would have enough of a sense of humor to tolerate me.

Athar has me, Neo-K, TSI, Fiddlebottoms, Tribes, Grainne, Cabra, Aerou, Bolol, Posi, puppets of PM, Derscon, Cluichstan (occasionally), New-Lexington.... and a few more. But we are kind of dying out despite all that. We may all decide to move to a new region or something, since I'm thinking of moving on myself; I don't like being tied down by foundership.
