This is a rectruitment thread for the Supreme Union, but I'd also like to take this opportunity to field any questions people may have about the region.
The Supreme Union is, in my humble opinon, one of the best regions on NationStates. Though the SU has existed for only a mere 1 1/2 months, we have grown to include nearly 300 members.
Not only has recruitment taken place at a fantastic rate, but during that time, the SU managed to ratify a regional constitution guaranteeing the rights of its members, created a two-house legislature, and elected its first government. The SU even found time to create a 100+ game arcade while all of this was going on. These are the hallmarks of not just good leadership, but widespread cooperation amongst our members.
On our regional forum, you'll find everything from roleplaying to discussions of real life political issues. The forums are also where our Senate and Citizens' Assembly vote on new laws and our Regional Cartographer takes map requests. One thing that has always struck me about our forums is that no matter how controversial the topic debated, the debates stay respectful, intelligent, and polite. The attitude of respect and friendliness extended to all members permeates the SU.
