Introducing Esteria (http://www.nationstates.net/page=display_region/region=Esteria), the region that I have made my home in NS. Our region has reached a crucial juncture in its history, where it must make a choice between Defending, Neutrality, and Invading. We need active nations with an interest in the growth of our region, so please consider moving in. All types of nations are welcome.
World Factbook Entry: Esteria is a democratic tropical paradise, an archipelago of islands, beaches, and groves of palm trees. The economy is thriving due to exports of cocoa beans and refined sugar. Tourists love the warm, turquoise, crystal-clear seas and bustling harbour towns. At the same time the grand ambitions of Esterians are feeding the rise of a new cafe culture, and intense debates on inter-regional politics often draw huge crowds.

"Esteria's regional capital, Esteria City, is situated in Serenity Bay, a wide natural harbour on the southern side of the main Esterian Capital Territory island of Stellaris. Its major landmarks are the Senate, the debating hall for the delegates of Esterian member nations; Tiresia Beach, a sweeping expanse of pristine golden sands with a bustling seaside feel and the best nightlife in Esteria; and Central Square, in the heart of the business district..."
"I shall feel no pain, except for the future of Esteria. That is my curse and my blessing.
Who am I? I was Vice Director of Project Jeckyl, once. The artificial star of the heavens. Nonsense. How can Esteria, how can the world, be so blind to the ambitions of its creators? There are weapons there which would cause any sane mortal to shudder. Orbital weapons, capable of wiping out entire countries..."
"He knew he should have foreseen this. The Norse were everywhere these days, Esteria was in a state of quiet terror as they appeared from no-where, plundered and dissappeared. It was stupid to think they wouldn't know about him, suddenly he gets up and hides in a cupboard, seconds later a man bursts in..."
We also have a military, a direct-democracy Senate, and an intelligence agency, for those who want to really get involved in region development.
