Is there a way to form alliances between nations and force through descisions together?

Join a region, endorse the delegate, and have them vote on UN Resolutions?

There's no way to force the decisions on issues. People working together can influence the UN and a region's choice of delegate.

You can form alliances by role playing, apart from that, regions are your best bet.

The game itself doesn't have any provision for war, but there's lots of role-played wars on this forum, based on your nation's statistics.

All of what I am about to say has been mentioned in passing before:

Yes, alliances can be formed through joining a region, who can then use their influence to help 'force' UN proposals through. The other way an alliance can be formed/joined is through the International Incident or Nationstates sub-forums.

Nationstates itself does not include the capacity to wage wars, and it never will, as the moderators and Max (Barry, the creator), have stated before. However, wars are waged on the International Incidents forum through free-form roleplay, limited in part by your own preferences and also national statistics.
