Now, I realize that there are many a national animal that have come to be respected over the years. But I believe that in all this confusion we have forgotten the humble platypus. This is a very respectable animal, not needed to be slighted in any way. They come to show that yes, even God has a sense of humour.
So respect the platypi, respect the Erisian Principle, and discuss.

No, I believe this majestic animal does in fact need more recognition...in fact, to indicate so, the suggestion should be made that there could be an international platypus day! [or that it could say why PLATYPUS is a cooler animal than the llama!!!]
