The thing is I have know idea why. I have been doing EVERYTHING to help me economy. It was staying the same for a long time, which was annoying, but ok, but now it has drastically declined. The GDP is down $3,400 and I don't know what to do. Can anyone shed any light or advice on this?

maybe if you would make some descisions to take funding away from things like the military, education, healthcare, that kind of thing.

What were the last few issues you recieved? Some of them, dispite choosing the logical one that would boost your economy, actually makes it go down.

I remember that it(GDP per capita) first went down $2500, and then I had the miniature radio issue, and made them compulsory, which sent it down another $700.

You're in the UN! D'oh!

Your economy will NOT benefit under the UN.

Incorrect. Some resolutions actually improve your economy.

Most do not. No matter what I did, a resolution came along and crapped on my economy when I got it strong. I left, and I'm frightening now.

Yes but some do improve your economy although the majority don't.

Hence why the UN isn't beneficial to your economy. When the majority are against it, I don't see that beneficial at all. The negative outnumbers the positive.

Yes but some do improve your economy although the majority don't.Actually, the majority do nothing to your economy. It more depends on what's being passed.

I don't think the UN prevents you from having a good economy. My UN nation has a "Fair" economy, even though it's rather left-wing and has passed some anti-business issues. I'd think that a right-wing, pro-corporate nation could develop a powerful economy even in the UN.

Must be all the money your nation is spending on CPESL (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=479703) servicewomen.

I really meant the resolutions that affect your economy normally affect it negatively.

A quick example of a U.N nation with a powerful economy is Gras (http://www.nationstates.net/54621/page=display_nation/nation=gras) who is 7th in the world for pizza delivery.
