Imploded Economy?
In the early days of my nation I purposely attempted to kill of all industry. Now I have been trying for over a year to get my economy rating up and nothing I do seems to work. Is there any way to revive your nation's economy once it implodes? If so, could you let me know what it might include?

There is nothing else you can do but choose the economic option on every issue.
Try answering option 1 of "Suits in Protest", Option 3 of "Reclaim the Streets!", or Option 2 of "Put the Phone Down on Cold Calling". The first got my economy from 'Imploded' to 'Reasonable.' The second got it from 'Reasonable' to 'Strong'. The third got it (a while later) from 'All-Consuming' to 'Frightening', so all three -should- work.

This is good, helpful advice. Thank you. I've never gotten that third issue and only rarely have gotten the former two so I guess it's just luck of the draw?
Option #1 of "Get Efficient, Private Sector Tells Nature" may also be beneficial for your economy; it recently boosted one of my puppets' economic ratings from either Thriving or Powerhouse (I can't remember which) to All-Consuming), to my great surprise.

Legalize gambling, deny the workers' demands on the issues about them going on strike, and any time an official suggests you choose the privatize option on any number of issues (roads, prisons, beaches, etc.), choose it. Sigh ... it's tough to maintain a strong economy without cowtowing to the corporations.
And it's not so much "luck of the draw" as it is patience. You will eventually get all of the issues that apply to your nation.
