The number of Regions that exists within the world seems to be beyond staggering. If you sort through list of regions, you will notice that MANY of them have only a single member nation. Would it be fair to propose that a region must be comprised of either 3 or 4 or more countries in order for it to remain in existance? Otherwise, the nations within regions not meeting the requirement could be moved back to the Pacific (where all nations are automatically created). This would greatly simplify looking at the regions and considering regions of which to be a part.
Thoughts? Comments?

This is not going to happen. We don't force players to interact with each other. If someone wants to be in a region all by themselves, it's not our concern.

There are 1400-some-odd nations listed at the top of the "Regions" list as not belonging to ANY region...how is that possible?

It happens occasionally (I had to change some of my analysis software to cope with it). I think it's a bug in the update process and the nations have actually died (along with their regions). You'll have to ask an admin...
