Is it just me or has the idea of being invaders simply become to pick the smallest regions that are least interested in bothering anyone or anything and destroying them by taking them over and then bragging about it?
The DEN Captain of Persaetus - the den take ZION MOUNTAIN. Persaetus and Of Crazed moved into the region 7 hours before update. Persaetus was elected delegate with no fendas in sight, pitty.
The DEN Lieutenant of Hun Land - ...this is getting to be a bit too easy,
Here are the recent comments from the DEN Base. They took over Zion Mountain and brag about it as a victory when the region has 10 nations. Did anyone suspect that invading a region of 10 nations was going to be big challenge?
Invasion is a game that is set up so the anybody who doesn't want to play automatically loses.
Here are the anti-invasion options -
1) Vigilantly scrub your region of invaders every night (play their game)
2) Password protect your region and thus stifle growth.
3) Get invaded and call on fendas to attempt to retake the region (again play their game)
4) Refound your region to prevent invasion
All 4 of those adversely affects the region that does not want to play the game, the fourth being the least so, but it leaves the region vulnerable if the founder quits playing or is DEATed.
And basically, the invaders keep attacking regions until they are victorious. Kind of like a computer virus. No one gets up in the morning and says, "yay, I didn't get a computer virus last night." Essentially, they consider it a victory if they ever get in, so the game favors the invader heavily and essentially no one is protected from their harassment.
And no longer do they simply leave the region once they've invaded. They keep that region for as long as they can hold onto it. The longer they hold it the more they brag. How can that not be considered malice?
Now, one might say, they operate under the same conditions, but it isn't true. They don't. Every one of the DEN's regions, for example, are founded and that is because they know the game favors the attackers and they don't wish to deal with the exact same kind of defense they force everyone else to deal with. It's kind of like playing dodgeball with guys who will only play if they start with all the balls and you're only allowed to throw at them once they've hit you.
Thoughts?
EDIT: Actually, it's not invasion. It's imperialism.
