So, is the purpose of the Game to rule the world, UN or something else? How does one become the "top of the heap" nation? Why do we play this game?:headbang:

How do I win?
Ah, but what is "winning," grasshopper? There is no way to win as such. Which is better, a left-wing civil rights paradise with no money, or a right-wing economic powerhouse where the poor are left to fend for themselves? (That's a rhetorical question.)

One way to succeed, at least in a sense, is to make it onto the top rungs of a United Nations report. These are compiled once per day, one for each Region and one for the entire world. Nations are ranked on anything from economic strength to the most liberal public nudity laws (the UN has a lot of time to fill in). There's a certain glory in making it onto one of those.

There is no real reason to play the game but the majority find it a fun thing to do. You can try and come top in the U.N rankings, become U.N Delegate, found a region, get involved in another region, take part in U.N debates and make U.N proposals, roleplay, answer issues, make issues get involved in the NS forums, develop your nation and model it to your views and/or wants, create and experiment with puppets and invade/defend.

*pauses for breath*

So it is an extremely large and varied game with plenty to do and I think (hope) I included everything to do and hope I gave you some ideas. I suggest you read the stickies to get some more ideas.

Good luck in NS!
