I have registered multiple nations on NS to RP as FT, but for some reason none of those received the verification email from NS, I have decided to instead convert my MT nation to FT, now all I need to know is how this is done. On more than one occasion I have heard of nations who have done this, what I want to know is how? Did they first have to write a "history" of their nation and how their nation came to dominate all others on their home planet? That would be the easy part, a page or two on Word could knock it out, the tricky part I assume would come with developing my fleet. That's the part where I really need some help. Your advice is much appreciated and if anyone could direct me to some threads where MT nations switched to FT nationsyou will be rewarded in heaven with forty virgins or one dirty girl from New York, your choice.

and for the whole writing your history thing, thats what i've done for my nation, but its MT

West: I guess that sounds about right, as for your fleet, pick a theme, eg:starwars, or invent your own. Your quite old already, so you could start quite large.

Franberry: I think he means the forum registration email. Also, you don't register your TL, you choose it outside the game mechanics. Your free to change, or have multiple versions of the same nation, but it's best to be able to take part in wars on multiple tech levels

I am also a MT-to-FT nation; there's some good information about how I evolved in my factbook (clicky on the link in my sig) as to how I roleplayed it. Mostly a slow technological march up until my little SETI program found another interstellar civilization, then I just bought up tech like crazy and reverse-engineered it all. However, I haven't updated my factbook at all to account for the civil war I'm almost done roleplaying, but it'll still tell ya how I got to FT.

Ok, cause i rped my TL on the forums, so i was worried i hadent done something important

Thank you EWT, you were actually the nation I was referring to in my first post about converting to FT and wanting an example, hard to believe I could forget a name like that.
