Looking for some input here. What are the benefits/advantages, if any, in becoming a member of the UN?

Thanks for your help!

Some people join the UN, so that they can become the UN delegate of their region and exercise control over their region. Some people actually enjoy the fact that the UN does all of their ruling for them so that they don't have to.

It allows you to be a liberal squirrel like me. I collect nuts. No, it is very good for a strongly liberal country with a violent military standpoint.
