Europa

United In Diversity

Introduction:

Europa hit the 270 nation mark recently - and we're still rising. What we aim to do with this thread is introduce to our region, and to attract any players looking for a new region in which to enjoy this game to it's full extent. Here's a rundown of what our region has to offer:

Roleplay:

Elitist free roleplay to be precise. Here in Europa we respect every player and forget about n00bism. Naturally, when godmodding occurs - then we do have to act, but otherwise players can enjoy one of this game's best aspects without being insulted.

Here's a link, see for yourself:

Regional Map:

Everybody is entitled to a plot on our map, which our cartographers painstakingly put together. Even if you don't take part in RP there's a place on the map for you.

The Army:

Defending all the way. The Europa Army (TEA) is here to defend from those on this game who find it fun to destroy regions. Divided into three corps, it maintains full operational capability by means of a 3 corps system.

Ask any of our officers Scipii, Niederoestereich, Paranoid Schizos or Ide Jima if you have any queries about regional defending invading - we'll be only too happy to answer.

The General Boards:

Do you like discussing current affairs? Then you will find our region's general forum boards very interesting. Here you can discuss many issues, from the very deep and meaningful to the plain morbid curiousity based questions. Eitherway, these boards provide an excellent place to talk - after all, nationstates isn't just about RP!

The Foreign Affairs Sector:

Europa has made numerous diplomatic contacts with all kinds of regions. We have built a network of friends across the game. We are always interested in contacting new regions, and we are only too happy to accept embassy requests. There are also several ambassador positions open at the moment.

The Government:

Last, but definitely not least comes the government section. This sector of our region has just recently been re-organised. With a new team of senators in place, we are starting to go about modernising our region. Although nations new to the region are unlikely to be elected into the government straight away, ministerial positions are to be elected in the near future - so if you are interested now would be the time to move in!

For further details, ask one of our senators: Akiiryu, Adaptus,Tagmatium, Tamurin, Ide Jima or PIRILAO

We hope this region will provide you with what you are looking for!

Hey, no need to quote the entire post...

The map is made mainly with photoshop, although I believe our last carthographer used some other MS-affiliated program.

We have very little use for your region. Seems to me if you wanted more people to respect your region, your delegate would not be so lax in his UN duties, he would not be completely in absentia on UN affairs, and he would not be so utterly indifferent to those who have the unmitigated gall to lobby him for support on UN legislation. That is all. Goodbye.

1) Looking at your region, you aren't really in a position to criticise ours.

2) What are you on about? The Europa forum deals with UN resolutions - and the UN isn't exactly the most important aspect of this game.

3) Our delegate isn't male

1) That ain't even a real region. It's just a place to stash puppets.

2) The UN should be an important aspect of the game for the UN delegate.

3) I don't give a shit.

1) Exactly, it sucks

2) And it is, perhaps you havn't considered that people may have a life outside this game? And sometimes that life can get busy? Obviously not.

3) Great! You can stop posting here then

1) I don't think you heard me right; this is not my main nation, and that is not my main region. Besides, belonging to a TOTALLY PWESOME!!!!1 region is not why I joined the game.

2) Your delegate doesn't have five minutes to review a UN proposal when a member nation alerts her to it? Apparently not, since all she does is place those who have the nerve to lobby her on ignore, and uses puppets to send TG "warnings" to her petitioners. "I can't believe these idiots are bothering me about delegate business! It's not like I'm a delegate or anything! ... Oh, wait." Believe it nor not, reviewing proposals in the list and occasionally poking her head into the UN forum are part of her job as delegate, and if she can't handle the job -- primarily if she controls 51 votes -- she should pass it on to someone else.

3) Indeed I can.
