Hi all!
I would like to rp my nation, however I am so lost on where to go, what to say/do, not to mention there are soo many links in the international insadence forum I don't even know where to begin. On an rp guide that I read on this sight, it recomends that I join an rp before I start my own...
I know what type of rp I'm looking for, I just don't know how to find it. I want to rp in-character, all this talk of wars, triles..etc is confusing to me at least.
It's very hard being new, I hope this post doesn't anoy anyone I just want to rp and get it right the first time.

After you have got an Idea of not only the type but some details about your nation done (fleshing out your nation) the next thing is to find something that interests you, If you Trawl through the Nationstates and International incidents forums there are many different RPs being done... If one in particular catches your eye... read up on what has happened so far. If you like what you see then it is time to determine a character (or set of characters) and a way for the characters to join the RP. If the RP is a war... then you might want to see what your approx defense budget is for your nation. There are a numberr of budget calculators out there.... one of the more commonly used ones is the NSEconomy one. It can be found at ... http://nseconomy.thirdgeek.com/nseconomy.php

a lot of the RP is based on discovery and diplomacy especially the past tech (PT) ones.

the ones i'm running is based on PT Kirisubo but theres a lot of other threads going on which include alternate history, modern tech (ie now) and future tech.

Just find an open thread about one or two pages in, read the whole thread, see how people are doing in it, and then join in. By watching the other people roleplay, you'll get an idea of how you can act in that situation.

If you've read the sticky's then you're well on your way. Just think of this as really big storybook, with lots of different stories in them. Some of the easier RP's to get started on are things like hosting a ball for international guests, a natural disaster occuring in your nation, elections, or RPing that your nation is now open for international relations.

for the creator of this forum, If you want to RP in a little one join mine, i'm going to re-open it in internation incidents, and it's going to be a small rebel group attacking me, it'll be small, not many people so it'll be a good beginning one for you. it is also my first on this site, but i have done others on other sites, either way feel free to add me to your dossier, telegram me and i'll help you from there. it's called Princstable Invasion, in international incidents... please telegram me first.

oh and another thing, on NSEconomy, it says trade big on this, and traded with this.. how does that work? i mean. how does it know that it or i have traded with someone? i havnt traded anything, and stuff, and it says the East Pacific big traders have traded with so many nations, and who is the biggest trade, so how does that work? also it says my imports and exports, i dont even know what i'm importing or exporting.. can someone help me?
