Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 3.186 billion enjoy some of the most opulent lifestyles in the region, unless they are unemployed or working-class, in which case they are variously starving to death or crippled by easily preventable diseases.

There is no government in the normal sense of the word; however, a small group of community-minded, pro-business individuals juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Education, and Commerce. Income tax is unheard of. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Information Technology industry.

Jennifer Government is a bestseller, the government has cut its subsidies for all special interest groups, the latest Harry Potter book is a bestseller, and 'Mountain Doobie' is widely regarded as the nation's favourite drink. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Stumpneria's national animal is the eagle, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the coin.
