Looking for FT [mostly Star Wars] region

I am about to conclude a month-long civil war (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=452833) that kills off about a quarter of my population (using the roughly 2.4 billion at the start of the RP, not current stats) and sends me into severe economic depression. However, I already OOCly have some help lined up to deal with the inevitable rebuilding (and yes, there will be an extensive rebuilding/revival thread, taking at least a RL month to roleplay; I'm not the type to send forth legions the day after my entire military was destroyed).

However, events in my gameplay region leave me with little choice to leave. My region is dying, and the founder has thrown up his arms and left. The roleplay that I am concluding now was so intensive that I did little else in NS, but now that it is drawing to a close, I may yet rejoin the realm of regional politics (I happen to be a former UN delegate of yet another region that I formerly inhabited, and I had twenty-something endorsements before the autumn 2004 delegate-record crash cut that in half).

My factbook (in my signature) remains incomplete, yet it still contains useful information about my national history. The information contained therein is accurate as of the start of my civil war; most of the former government will be reinstated with a few constitutional changes to address certain problems leading up to the civil war. The military will have changed drastically, though I will still utilize a "quality over quantity" philosophy in regards to the military, eschewing the fleets of thousands of ships deployed by some other FT nations.

ICly, I have only been FT for only a generation or so, with most of my tech either sold or gifted to me, and as such, I use an eclectic blend of SW, Battletech [think the Mechwarrior computer games if you don't know what I'm talking about], a little bit of ST, and technology carried over from my time as PMT, most notably in the area of geology, where I have extensive custom technology.

After the war, I expect to align myself to the GFFA. Some time ago, there was a thread in Gameplay advertising a region that I would now be interested in, but I can't find it. I currently have only one Jedi, though in the aftermath of the war, seven new ones will be trained, one of whom will be a rare geokinetic, trained partially outside of the Jedi Academy, forced to take formal classes at my own universities because of the heavy degree of specialization that the Academy cannot handle.

As you may be able to tell, I have plenty of RP ideas and will be an active player. However, I cannot guarantee that I will have more than extremely spotty Internet access over summer, but during the school year, I intend on being quite active.

I'm looking mostly for an open-minded, predominately Star Wars region where I can jump in and have some fun. Any takers?

Roman Raven Empire

Hobbeebia is there and he is FT. And he uses a lot of star wars tech.

That region seems even more dead than the one I'm in right now, with Hobbeebia the only player I recognize, but I appreciate the thought.

I think I found the region I was looking for, but I'm not 100% sure. I'll have to see what the new regionmates have to say; they might not like the fact that I use multiple tech bases instead of only Star Wars canon, but I'll try it anyway...
