Would anyone have any thoughts as how best to lower income tax rates for a Nation? I've spent several weeks in a row specifically choosing issues that should, reasonably speaking, lower it from the 100% it's been stuck at for months, but nothing's changed...

Any constructive suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Interesting. I joined in May and have maintained a 0% income tax rate for most of the time. Generally, you can lower the income tax by making decisions that reduce the actions of the government in general. Just because there isn't an option that lowers taxes or raises taxes doesn't mean that they don't affect the tax rate. For instance, increasing the police force raises taxes, while ending government subsidies lowers them. Hope this helps.

Eventually you will get an issue that says something along the line of "Let me choose where my tax dollars go..." that issue will greatly lower your tax rate.

The problem for us nations with a 100% tax rate that we can't bring down no matter what we do is that it goes down when we choose issues that do that, but it's already at something 312%, so you answer an issue to bring it down and it's at 308%, etc.

Who cares? The People's Democratic Republic of Northern Sushi is proud to have a 100% tax rate.

I must disagree with anypride in a 100% tax rate. the ecomony cannot exist with it. You will greatly find that a lower tax ill boost your economy. Try rolling back on services!

I wouldn't say so at all, the Barbarian Republic of Axeman Dave has a thriving economy. Our people are proud to give up their Axes to support their nation's government.
