If I was trying to make a serious argument I'd probably start by saying something like 'invading a region is a non-consensual act causing mental anguish to its inhabitants'.

Personally I like invaders and I was very pleased when Max Barry himself said he had taken part in an invasion.
I don't like invaders. We always have to clean up after their mess...
