Something I have been wondering since I arrived here playing NS is how does being a member of the United Nations benefit or hinder your nation itself? Does it have ANY effect at all or is it simply another RP? I have heard others who complain about the UN and some that are actually "anti-UNists"...so I was just wondering what good or bad effects UN membership has on my nation if any at all. Thank you.

Various UN resolutions affect your nation's stats depending on the category (it's explained in the UN forum). Many people oppose the UN because it imposes laws on all member nations (the UN resolutions).

thank you. this is exactly what I needed to understand. I think its prolly best (since I dont really care to pay too much attention to the UN) for Ekathora to remain outside of the UN. :D THANK YOU KINDLY
