The Holy Imperium of Banduria is currently looking for a region. I am a large nation of nearly 2 billion citizens with an economy that'll drive up the GRP a fair bit (:p). I'd like an active region, preferably with a similarly active forum. I'm not really into invading or defending, so no I/D regions. Also, RPing (especially MT) is always a plus, so if you have an active RP base you can sort of count me in. ;)

Any suggestions?

The Asian Continent (http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index.cgi/target=display_region/region=asian_continent) welcomes any form of government. We're far from being overcrowded and the UN isn't a big concern. We have our own offsight forum and regional map.

I'd also suggest us, Q102, particularly if you are not into invading/defending as we are a declared neutral region.

I strongly recommend Wysteria for you.

I'd suggest the Sunbelt which is fairly active, and has a offsite forum . Things have slowed a bit fo late, but gernally quite active. Also tens to be more focused on 'serious' Rping. We've had both diplomatic and military related RPs. whereas some regions wil not allow 'war' or conflict Rps. Check the Sunbelt regional HQ for the Url OF THE FORUM OR tg ME . No worries on I/D we dont' do any of that. Our regiojnal forum and RPs tend to be free standing with no connection to or reliance on anything in the NS forums or other regions.

I suggest Hyrule. We're a large, neutral, and laid-back region, focused on having fun in NationStates. Basically, elabourating on the points you outlined:

-We're one of the most active regions in NationStates; we rarely have posts on the Civil Headquarters that are a day old (or over). Our forum is also quite active, especially on weekdays.

-As one of the more neutral regions in NationStates, that means not taking part in invading or defending. UN membership, of course, is optional.

-We are not technically a RP region, like Gruenberg said (as RP is not our main point of focus), however we do some roleplaying from time to time. We also have a rather detailed map, located here for your viewing: http://www.freewebs.com/nshyrule/.

Of course, there are many great regions to choose from, Hyrule included, however if you don't choose Hyrule, I strongly reccomend you join Q102; it's another very fun region.
