Okay, I am learning as I go.

Now, I have created a region and I have another member. Does the region join the nations that join in a loose coalition and they get to do what they want together? Or is it two nations in an alliance, like a normal alliance, if I am attacked I will help you out?

Also where does everyone get those cool statistics for their countries. I was looking at one of the International Incident threads where a war was going on in I believe Kiliana, sorry if I misspelt it but there was this one nation that was rattling off statistics for every combatant. Where do you get those statistics?

Finally, if another member gets into the UN and you are already in the United Nations can you vouch for the other member?

Moved to Gameplay. These are not technical questions. Players can tell you some of the answers.

Some useful instruments for figuring out your nation's stats: thirdgeek (http://nseconomy.thirdgeek.com/nseconomy.php?nation=lois-must-die), NSTracker (http://nstracker.retrogade.com/index.php?nation=lois-must-die), Sunset (http://www.sunsetrpg.com/economystatistics.php).

Unless a region is a specified alliance, such as "C A D" or "The Westwood Alliance" or whatever, the members aren't required to help each other out, it's more of a loose coalition.

Also where does everyone get those cool statistics for their countries. Economic statistics can be found on http://nseconomy.thirdgeek.com/ and http://nstracker.retrogade.com/; these two "calculators" use the same data. The Sunset Calculator (http://www.sunsetrpg.com/economystatistics.php) is also useful; these provide a nice study in contrasts.

As for the military stats—the people who go list an endless stream of MBTs and LBTs factoring in the exact price, the number of assault rifles in the nation, the coastal defense SAM batteries, and so on—as it's free-form RP, figuring that out requires a whole lot of work and time which many of us have, being the geeks with no social life that we are. Basically, take your defense budget (from any calculator) and then, if you're a purist, subtract the cost per soldier, the price of each tank, jeep, plane, ship, etc., until you're left with no money, and those are your military stats. (Actually, keep some money left over, like a few billion, in case you ever happen to walk into a storefront.)

Non-purists like me simply make up some realistic-sounding stats and work with them. (Realistic as in, no excessive numbers of troops/planes/ships and understanding that overfunding some branches, e.g. Air Force, will lead to underfunding others, e.g. Navy.)

Finally, if another member gets into the UN and you are already in the United Nations can you vouch for the other member?
I think you can, but you don't have to... Explain this a little bit more fully.
