Hello! I'm looking for a good region to move my nation to. A smallish one would be good, as would be one that focuses on science/technology. If it needs a UN delegate, that would be GREAT. ^_^ Mechanical Wonders is already a regular UN member.

You can move to Athar, it's smallish (16 members), ...I can't say we really focus that much on science and technology, but we have a fairly inactive forum that needs some more members, and an active delegate (a.k.a. President). However, if you move now you'll fulfill the required time period in order to be able to run for UN Delegate in the upcoming elections (Nov. 1-4).

There's always Atheist Haven. We don't focus on Science/Technology really, but we are smallish and more U.N people is always good.

All you have to be is Atheist or Agnostic.

Well, I'm looking for a region that participates in rp and with someone who knows what they are doing so they can help this clueless newbie to find a niche ;)

I'm looking to grow a sane conservative country.

Oh, and 1 question, does the region you join actually affect rp at all? Does it affect your placement in the world etc

If you mean U.N rankings et cetera, it doesn't.

Mechanical Wonders: Malibu Islands is a fairly small region. We've just appointed a new delegate, but we have a vacancy in the Ministry for Science, should you be so interested.

Lleynn: Again, Malibu Islands, though currently not active in RP, is about to set up a civil war RP, which might interest you. We welcome all political denominations, but if you are interested, you might want to join our conservative Republican party. Region affects your RP only should you so wish. For some people it's a major consideration...but for others, less so. Allocation of land is the most common way in which regional residence matters. (We have lots of land left to claim in Malibu Islands, including Eastern Europe, Russia, China, Central America, Africa...the list goes on.)

For a roleplaying region, I generally recommend Wysteria (http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index.cgi/page=display_region/region=Wysteria).

well, As the Founder and UN Delegate of my Region, i say u should join my region called The Great Nations. we are a small region with only 4 nations so far and we could use a new UN Delegate, one that hopefully will make good decisions and help our region and the other regions. we could use a new member to our region. we accept any kind of goverment. we are not picky. so please come our region and hopefully if you have enough endorsements, u can become our Regional UN Delegate.

While we don't focus on science and technology, any form of government is welcomed in the Asian Continent (http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index.cgi/target=display_region/region=asian_continent). We're pleasantly small, only around 19 nations or so, and we're quite active in RP. As a given bonus, our region has its own map.

You can join the Keys. We are all about hard work and having fun. We have a great culture. There is a major sense of community and anyone is welcome. This region is about diversity. I just started this region so the only nation living there is the Niches.

its smallish (17) and everybody lives in peace and prosperity :fluffle:
there already is a UN delegate but he doesnt have many endorsements so you have a good chancec of taking his place. :mad: :sniper:
everyone is different so no matter what your nations like you will be welcome and im sure that you will make a few friends. :)
none of the nations have massive populations (the biggest is about 400m and the rest are a lot smaller) so new nations are perfect.
