Hey, I am interested in starting a region, but I'd like to get some nations to want to join before it opens; so it doesn't end up like many small regions that lose interest and no one joins them.
My ideas for this region are:
To hold a Constitutional Convention in the region right away after it opens.
To have a democratic convention process with ratification required by a majority of the participants. I hope to have all the nations in the region propose ideas to this Constitution.
A government with regional delegate controls ON. (I find this adds to the fun of the game).
How will the Convention turn out? Well I hope it is a democratic government in the sense that everyone can have a say in legislative issues. I hope there is an executive branch and a judicial branch as well. If you look at the government of the different feeder regions, those are the types of regional gameplay I am looking for. I am not a big RP fan, to the extent of having wars, etc, so if that is what you want in a region, I don't think that will be here. However, I do hope to have a little sense of role playing on the basis of government positions, election of the delegate, etc. I hope to have many nations in this region, but I need your help!

PS: My current nation is Ator People (http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index.cgi/target=display_nation/nation=ator_people). Over 2 billion population and has been a member and government official in various regions/organizations over the past year or so.
