What's this? Nation summary glitch?

SNOIC

The Republic of SNOIC is a huge, safe nation, notable for its devotion to social welfare. Its compassionate, intelligent population of 758 million are fiercely patriotic and enjoy great social equality; they tend to view other, more capitalist countries as somewhat immoral and corrupt.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, socially-minded government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Education, and Healthcare. The average income tax rate is 100%. The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising fourteen-year-old boys selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.

Refugees from other nations are flocking to SNOIC's border, citizens are enjoying a recent large cut in taxes, cars are banned, and all guns must be registered. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. SNOIC's national animal is the blue mutated hedgehog, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the ring.

SNOIC is ranked 1st in the region and 20,553rd in the world for Most Income Equality.

I found it funny. ^_^

You have raised taxes again since this happened.

Yes. Registering all guns requires money, and where do you think that money comes from?

Less explicable are things like my utter lack of military funding even after I expressly increased defence spending at terrible cost (my political freedoms went down to "Widely Abused", for one).

Meh, I've seen 100% tax rates with a "frightening" economy to match. "Frightening" is the best economic rating in the game.

Conceivably, if the government rebated a substantial portion of such tax revenues, kinda like welfare for everyone, a decent private sector could develop.
