This is a page to register currency (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_4217) and nation (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_3166-1_alpha-3) iso numbers, which are set by the International Standards Organization. However, due to the sheer number of nations, the code will have to be larger than three characters.

Currencies will consist of four letters, two denoting the nation and two denoting the currency. For example, the ITD Credit's code would be ITCR. If there is a conflict in the code, the two (or more) nations will compromise.

Nation codes will also consist of four letters, two denoting the region and two denoting the nation. For example, ITD is in Farktopia, so its code will be ITFA, or if your nation's region changes too often, you can use the first four letters of your nation or a similar combination. If there is a conflict in the code, the two (or more) nations will compromise.

The ISO code system will help international banking organizations. (ooc: and gives people something to add to their factbook)
