Hey all, I'm relatively new to Nation States. And yes, I have a couple of questons.

I know that they are cool. Yet I have to ask what purpose having someone in your Dossier, or Endorsing them, has?

I have the suspicion that the "Dossier" system is just an handy way to keep check on Nations of Interest.

I understand how Endorsing a Regional Rep is effective. Yet, does it have a purpose on non- Regional Reps?

I read through the F.A.Q's even tried the About hyperlink, then i came to the forums and still couldn't find answers.

Someone please put this ignorant dog out of his misery with some methuselah-like wisdom

Dossier:

for defenders, it is handy to keep track of invader puppets/nations.
for recruiters, an easy way to keep track of who they telegrammed.
for puppetmaster, to keep track of all their puppetnations

Endorsements:

To be able to write a proposal, you need two endorsements, so that's handy.
More is handy when you want to take over the region. This by just collecting till you surpass the Delegate and become Delegate yourself. Or have a few friends move in and endorse you (invading) or when a bug comes around and gives random nations in random regions delegacy. Or something (winks at Sal)

I really appreciate that. It's good to have confusing naunces articulated clearly and precisely. It really helped me. Cheers.
