As many of you are already aware, I have been living in a suburb of Philadelphia for the last six years, enjoying steady Internet access and quite a lot of time to play NationStates. However, all things change, and my life is one of those things - graduating high school tends to have that sort of transformative impact.
Tomorrow, I will be embarking on a cross-country road trip and vacation en route to Harvey Mudd College (located in Claremont, California, which is a suburb of Los Angeles), which I will be attending in the near future. Although most of the hotels that I stay in will have Internet access, the time I spend on the Internet will be greatly limited due to the fact that I will be driving all day and seeing the sites along the way.
I will begin orientation at Harvey Mudd on 25 August, and at that time I expect to regain regular Internet access due to dorm connectivity. However, I do not yet know what changes college will bring to my Internet habits, and therefore I expect my Internet use to be at a reduced level for a significant amount of time even after I get to college.
Therefore, expect to be seeing quite a bit less of me beginning tomorrow, 7 August. I will still be checking in on NationStates as often as possible, but I'm afraid that "as often as possible" will be a lot less often than it has been.
