Hey,

I'm fairly new here (bout 3 weeks), but an avid RP'r. I've searched through all the sticky's and what not but I'm still having a prob trying to find all the stat calcs, percentages to use, etc.

I mean, I think that the max for your military is pretty much 5% of your pop? But thats all I know.. If someone would sorta mentor me on this I'd be very glad

Really, I would go back to the stickies, and look out for the various Guides To Economy and Military etc. I'm always wary of the arbitrary 5% figure - given that, North Korea is godmodding, whilst many other countries are being pathetic. Generally, though, it's a reasonable guide - but there's much more to successfully RPing your military than picking your numbers. (And there's much more to NS RP than counting soldiers.) Basically, go over Euro's stickies in II. Beyond that, a good way to learn is to actually read some of the current war threads and see what's going on.
