Shirrad has Hawk Square in the centre of the National Capital, Karagrad. It's roughly the size of tow English Football pitches and has the Government Building at one end, The Karagrad Central Station at the other and a statue of the Hawk from the national flag in the middle. Kinda like Red Square, but different.

Fatus Maximus has many national landmarks. However, perhaps the most stunning is The World's Largest Tower of Oreo Cookies, roughly 675 feet tall and consisting of 10 million cookies arranged to form a skyscraper.
The Majin Ideal
05-08-2005, 18:03
The Majin Ideal has three notable landmarks and locations:
First, and most notable, of all, is the giant stone structure that houses the 'The Majin Ideal's' government. Named "The Magisterum", the two hundered floor building stands in the centre of the nations capital city, Majina, and dwarfs the surrounding landscape. Taking two years to build, it is a testament to the power and unwavering authority of the government.
Secondly, 'Victory Hill' is located on the outskirts of the capital. Two years ago, the site was the location of the final battle of the nations first civil war. The two opposing forces 'The Followers of the Majin Ideal' and 'The Loyalists of the Crown and Monarchy' met on the hill to see who would prove victorious. The 'FMI' wanted to expell the Monarchy from power after they refused to stop supplying rival nations with arms and letting the nation be swamped with immigrants. The 'FMI' proved victorious, with the King being killed by my own hands. It is now a monument to our struggle for freedom from weak government.
Lastly, 'The Majin Ideal' has a thriving industrial district, built up around our Uranium Mines. The industrial centre provides all matérial needed for ships and weapons. The sight of hundereds of weapons and supply factories is truly a wonder to behold.
Signed:
President Jason Curtis
Ruler of "The Dictatorship of the Majin Ideal"

On the eastern seaboard we have the underwater rock dwellings of ancient sea cats, known conveniently as the underwater caves.
There's also the Sfinx, the giant cat statue in the middle of our desert region that for reasons unknown to us is missing a tail.
Also in our desert region are large camel cats, notorious for spitting on tourists and playing with the dangly things on their backpacks.

Compadria
06-08-2005, 11:23
Us Compadrians are simple folk, but probably our most famous national landmark is the 250 metre high statue of Tarquin, the otter, constructed from twigs and mud alone.
As I said, we're simple folk.
May the blessings of our otters be upon you all!
The Rogue Nation of Ninruc has the Statue of Opression, a reminder of our uncivilised days.
It shows an armed member of the (ex) local terrorist group, the Faschist Terror Front (FTF), which had a brief rule of 6 months, brandishing his AK-47 above his head while crushing corpes under his boots. It was removed from the top of our government building, the Dodecahedron, and placed on top of the heighest mountain, Mt. Ech-ech-ech-ech, away from the eyes of our citizens, but can still be seen from the air.
Beat that if you can :headbang: :mp5:

The Eternal Kawaii
07-08-2005, 02:45
Our nation's landmarks are found in the many shrines honoring the best-known and most powerful Manifestations of the Eternal Kawaii. Chief among these is Mount Sanrio, the highest point in our country. This tall, isolated mountain, whose cloud-forested slopes are home to the sacred Sanrio kittens, is believed to be the place where the Eternal Kawaii first Manifested itself to Our people.
Visitors to Our nation are encouraged to participate in the many pilgrimages Our citizens pay to these shrines to commune with the presence of the Eternal Kawaii. Check with your nearest Kawaiian Holy Tourism Agency office for a list of tour packages.

The Paladin Dome, believed to be the largest free-standing domed building in exsistence. Seats 100000 people and has standing room for 50000 more. Used for soccer and ice hockey games, and concerts featuring really, really good bands. The acoustics are legendary.
The Varol Tower is an ancient structure built atop a manmade mound, overlooking the Kydonia River Canyon. It is believed to be both a watchtower and ancient meeting place.
The Imperial Square sits at the footsteps of Shorak's soul, the Strapinep, where the main political bodies serve as a democratic puppet government as it's true Leader decides the fate of the nation. The Square is quite large, playing host to only the most important events, such as executions of higher class criminals and traitors, with the ending bullets fired by the Emperor himself. The Strapinep can be classed as more of a temple than a congressional building. Custom and precisely carved stone pillars line the outsides and main halls, along with thousands of decorative items won over in many wars, both in and out of Shorak's history. Weapons, especially, of all shapes, sizes, and designs deck the halls, from axes to bows to swords, all the way to rifles, tanks, and missles.
Out about a mile away, lays the Imperial Graves. The fallen of only the greatest of warriors and leaders find their way to the main graves and temples, which are all decorated lavishly and a bit overdone at times, even for a grave. Outside lies the Lesser Gardens, where those who have died have not made it into the highest ranks of the Empire, but served quite a large purpose themselves anyways, mostly to the civilian population.
On the outskirts of the Capital, lies the Harphron Wall. The Wall surrounds the entire area, and is heavily guarded. Standing more than 40 feet high, the wall was created as a massive defensive structure, which proved it's worth many times over. Today, the wall sees very little conflict, though this is easily seen since it is heavily guarded with a multitude of turrets and marines, not to mention the hidden SAM sites within it to protect the seat of the Empire from air hostilities.
Throughout the rest of the Empire lay many smaller landmarks, almost all of which had to do with some nearly forgotten war. If anything can be said of landmarks in the Empire, it's that the people love them. Some have even said that the Shorakians could be in the worst of a nuclear holocaust, and they'd only care that their monuments were eradicated. :p
