Hi, new to the game (hope this is posted in the right section) but was looking for a pointer or three into the best way to get started, other than dealing with the issue before my government.

Any pointers would be most appreciated.

Thanks

Hello.

If you want to do anything, try roleplay. There's a lot of stickies in the NationStates and International Incidents forums about it.

Or you can try regional politics. Just move to a region and get involved, especially if it has a system of government like mine (link in the signature). Or form your own.

There's also invading/defending. Invading is trying to get the delegacy for a region, thus taking control. Defending defends against the raiders.

If you want, there's the forum. Much to discuss here, especially in General.

Quick tip: do NOT anger the mods. They never forgive, and they never forget.

For example, 2 people have been accused of flaming. One has a clean record, the other has been forum-banned in the past. Guess which one they're going to crash down on the most? This (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=416023) link tells you the rules.

Anytime.

Any other questions, just send me a TG. My door is always open, otherwise the cat complains.

While it primarily deals with the General forum, it also contains quite a few helpful links to help you get started.
