Quick question - from a newbie player. How does the trading/financial/military side work, or is there a link that explains. As otherwise you can pretend you have a trillion dollar trade surplus and buy yourself an army - pretend you invest in making them an elite armed force. But how would conflict resolution work between two armed forces ... are they listed for another to see/how do you list them?

When I registered at nationstates I got 5 million inhabitans. but I want to stick to the number I had already figured out when I started for myself namely 3,210.166. Is that possible or do I have to use the basic info I was given when I became a member? In europeanaffairs I am sticking to the info I myself have entered.

The population grows everyday.
It starts out in 1 million person increments, but this number grows with your population. Right now I'm on 7 million.
You get to the one billion mark after a year I've heard.
