In my time at Nation States, I have been able to observe many things which pertain to governence. Therefore, I have decided to study these things in detail. This is the first part of 5 part, or more, series (so far: Elections, Constitutions, Organization, Governence, Politics)

The first aspect I ask that you nice participants help me to research is regional elections. I've been wanting to do a sort of abstract study, that is, a personal observation of the campaigning, electioneering, and transition of power in regions, as well as government. So, I would ask if anyone has a region with upcoming elections, planned elections, or present elections could post here, so I may observe this democratic process. I hope that I can get out of this a good sense of regional workings in order to create the most efficient region as possible.

However, it all counts on your participation. I think this will be a good way to highlight regions that deserve praise for enginuity, and aid regions that need reform. Also, its a good way to meet new regions for alliences, or just to meet new friends.

I ask that you format your replies as follows:

Region Name:
Type of Region (i.e. Regualr, Role Play, Debate, Religious, etc.):
Type of Government (i.e., Republic, Democracy, Monarchy, etc.):
Type of Election (i.e., Direct, Indirect, etc.):
Positions for election (i.e., President, Senator, Minister, etc.)

So, don't be afraid, and remember, you could learn something! AND ACT NOW, AND YOU COULD GET A FREE .... (just an old attention getter.) But still, you could get more out of this then you put in.
