I think it either goes in here or in Technical. Not sure which.

And I was wondering the same thing.

To do so use BBcode like this:

$Text

So for red text replace "$colourname" with "red"
For blue text replace "$colourname" with "blue"
and so on. You can also use things like bold or italic.

From the "New Tech (and Mod) Forum FAQ Sticky"
The code for this is hand-rolled. The tags that we support are:

- bold -
- underline -
- italic -
- color -
[hr] - Horizontal Rule
[thread ] - Links to a thread in the forums
Remove the trailing space before the ] before use.

For the last two, check out the news page (http://www.nationstates.net/news/2005/02/02/index.html#sal_changes) for the syntax.

The last time I saw a mod ruling on this, they were not going to allow direct linking to off-site pages.

My region was founded by a mod and we have a link to our NSwiki page (technically off-site) in our world fact book.

I think you use www.url.com. Removing the space before ']'.

Doesn't this thread really belong in Tech?
