What are we? A role-playing region, we specialize in intra-regional conflict of political, economic and military aspects. We are modern age and do not go maybe more than 10 years into the future from current time. We do not use Jolt for our intra-regional role-play except to purchase storefront items, we use our own board at Allied Democratic Nations (http://aldemonat.proboards31.com/) We attempt to be as realistic as possible using NS issues and NS economy as a guide for our RP.
Do we expect immediate participation? No. Our region has been around since last November and each nation that has been in the region has developed a sense of history which includes loyalties, suspicions, and bad blood. When you first join, please become aware of this sense of history by reading some of the archived threads. Once you get a feel for the history and national loyalties and as new events unfold then participate freely in free-form role-play.
We are active and have over 5,000 posts. We secure our NS region with password-protection so you will have to telegram the founder for the password to move you nation to our region. The founder's nation is: Scythia Hyboria.
Are we trying to grow into a huge region? No. We have plenty of players right now. We are looking to add a only a few new players to inject new blood into our role-plays. The question we have for you is "Are we a good match?" If not, you may not be allowed to join.
Minimum requirements to join: Your nation must espouse to be run democratically by your people -- normally your minimum political freedom should be at least AVERAGE. Strong economy and high civil rights are a plus too. You nation should not be more than 2 Billion people (too large). After you are allowed to enter the region, you must register with the regional forum (the proboard listed above) After you nation registers you should also request the password to the regional Paliament (Senate), read the Constitution and join the ADN Senate by listing your Senator's name there.

A: Mechanically it is nothing more than interactive multi-player typed story telling, sometimes scripted ahead of time, sometimes played out in freeform. ADN is mostly freeform, though we will often propose to other players suggested ideas for an RP which is often based on a regional situation.
2. What if I don't know how to Role-Play?
A: We will teach and guide you.
3. Scythia Hyboria never answered my telegram? Have I been rejected?
A: No. He may have not just checked his telegrams. Just wait or ask Craigerock for his current status.
4. I watched your forum for a while and what's with all of the constant quarreling and fighting?
A: Watch the IC and OOC codes. We can be very mean and hostile IC, but OOC we are a really nice bunch of players. OOC we really do get along. In fact we ask our players to be nice to each other OOC. IC, well that is another story.
5. What is the difference between OOC and IC? (OOC) Out of Character is the real you and how you feel and react. (IC) In character is how your make believe character is acting and behaving. Some of our IC characters are real bad. We have Daily News threads and Its' War! threads that are assumed to be IC, and yet a Members Only Area that is assumed to be OOC.
