But how do you play this game ? eg get more people make more decsions etc

if you want more issues, you can set it up to two a day under "settings"
you can also join the UN (one nation per player/computer/IP) and then you get to vote on resolutions.
Your populations grows on it's own, the older the nation, the higher the population.
If you want to know what else there is to do, look around in the stickies of the different NS forums.
