I've seen the Indomitable Borderlands of the Grendels but that is not listed when you sign up. All I see is Republic Holy Empire etc. I want to know how you guys do that.

Everything before the 'of' isn't listed in the nation name, because it can be changed at will. For example, the 'Radical Dictatorship of Oilers Fans' is listed on the forums as 'Oilers Fans.'
Names like 'Indomitable Borderlands' are custom. You can make a custom title for your nation once it reaches a pop of 500 million.
