An Idea for a New RP Region

Greetings fellow NationStaters!

Alright, I don't know if this idea has been created or exists, but here goes. I'm hypothezising a new region for roleplaying the Ante-Bellum period of the United States (1789-1860). It would be a place where all the issues of that period would be debated. Now, I'm thinking that it could be set around a few key dates (1789, 1820, 1846, 1850, 1860) so that major issues could be discussed along minor issues. Major issues are the ones that get in the history books (Slavery, Seccession, States' Rights, Voting Rights, War, etc.); minor issues are state-based issues or important issues/events that took place in the shadow of major events, or just local problems. As for the RPing, a person could role-play themselves or they could RP a famous figure (Presidents, Senators, Congressmen, famous women, etc.) Depending on the timeset, political parties could be formed with the platforms of the real one's (ex. Democratic, Republican, Whig, Federalist, etc.), or a new political party that supports/ rejects the issues/decisions of the times. Elections can be held for President and Congress; Hell, maybe everyone will RP a congressman. Simply, the region would be to Role-Play the issues, politics, and situations of the Ante-bellum U.S. (Maybe even role-play the Civil War, with Northern and Southern RPers) It would simply be like living during that time, with our attitudes and thoights, mixed with a period character. I find that it could be a device which could reveal one's true thought, and help one experience history in the first (not third) person. To be the person, not read about him/her.

Anywho, if you would like to join and/or you have some ideas that could help this region function and be more accurate, post here. I implore you, think about it; you could have some amazing fun! So, whether your a hardcore federalist, a neo-confederate, a state's righter, an equalist, it doesn't matter. You can have a chance to hypothetically change history in the way you would like it to flow.
