Choosing which flag to use

All right, I've notice a lot of people have fancy-shmancy, handmade flags and I don't on either of my nations. So, I decided to make one for my nations. These are only basic drafts but I'd like to get an idea of which one looks best. I've posted this poll on other, smaller forums but I'd like a broader opinion. Whichever one gets the most votes I'll use for both my nations (changing the name on it of course). Anyways, vote on whichever looks best so I can figure out just what looks good for a flag. Thanks.

Flags are overrated. Just stick with current nation's flags. I like the Colombian one myself. Simple yet meaningful to me.

But I like Flag 3 myself.

#1 and 3.

But I'm dying to know, what does it mean? My flag (see below), for example, has a lot of symbolism. The red part is the mountains, and the yellow part, the plain. (Don't ask me why, lol.) The scales represent justice. The diamond represents pure democracy, the fundamental tenet of my nation's existence.

Well for my raiding nation, the connection to a sword is simple really. I attack with a group and we break off the native's connections. As for my recruiting nation, I'm not sure really. This was originally meant only for my raiding nation but I was advised to use one for both nations, so my allies (or enemies) can easily recognize me.

P.S: This is also Maconians, I'm recruiting as Entracounty though.

P.P.S: Czardas, aren't nation's flags supposed to be 107*71 pixels?

Czardas, you have just disappointed me. You're supposed to be ruler of the Universe, and you're advocating quaint ideas like "democracy" and "justice"?! *sighs*

I just can't be arsed to make one..also, I love Canada.

As to the poll, I think the first flag is best.

As to the poll, I think the first flag is best. When I started I thought I'd be a benevolent ruler elected by the people...then I found out that they didn't care, so I just scrapped the system and became an evil, sarcastic dictator! Of course by then it was too late, and I'm far too lazy to change my flag...so yeah.

Good lord, PM... that's a rather large flag...

Of course, I guess mine's rather minimalist:

My flag is actually the colors of my family's coat of arms. My motto is also the motto of my family.

Can someone PLEAZE explain to me how to make your own flag? I've tried doing things, but then my flag appears in a small corner of the picture and the rest of the space is... well, space.

Ah, I had this problem as well. I'm assuming that you tried this in paint? What you need to do is get rid of all the white background that you havent painted on. Try mousing around the corners of the window until you can drag it to fit your flag i.e. reducing the size of the canvas to fit the object.
