Ok. First go to International Inccidents (II) and click on the sticky there. Read through adn you should get the idea. If not feel free to TG me if you need help. Also I think this would be better off in Gameplay than NationStates

Also be sure to take anything Phalanix tells you with a grain of salt.

For that matter, take everything on these forums with a grain of salt. My suggestion is to wander around, look at what other people do, ask to get involved, and generally find out what you like and what you want to do.

1)Read the sticky

2) don't be afraid to ask questions.

3) Read through a number of the various Rp's

4) Feel free to TG me with questions- I'll do my best to answer them.

Read the stickies at the top of the NationStates, and International Incidents forum. Those will help you understand the mechanics of the game.

Then read some peoples RP’s, get an idea of how its done…may I recommend you read RP’s done on the NationStates forum, and not the International Incidents forum…believe it or not, some people feel posting a list of numbers, representing what their forces consist of counts as RP….

Anyways, then, get inspired, and start your own RP story idea…or jump into to someone else’s open RP…just do your best…be realistic, and have fun.

It’s a good idea to not declare a nuclear weapons program until you’ve played for several months…tends to erk people pretty bad. Also, its highly advised that, if you don’t want enemies, you refrain from partaking in the slave trade, once again, tends to get at peoples goat.

Don’t declare war on someone for no reason…. its been done, to death…so has declaring war on the entire UN…

Also, as an attachment and some friendly advice....lay off the overuse of the smiley faces....they just tend to annoying everyone....and NEVER use them in an RP…

Yes. In fact, you can just click on any forum and read the threads at the top marked "Sticky", not just those in II and NS. There are a few in each one, and they're all helpful. If you're into RPing, follow everyone else's advice. Also you must read the One-Stop Rules Shop (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=416023) by our local LEO, Frisbeeteria; a collection of everything you can't do.
