I have only recently started my nation. I was going quite strong, but suddenly today my economy went from fair to "fragile."

The only new legislation I passed was I allowed Harry Potter to be sold (which should have helped the economy one would think), allowed for public nudity (which one might suspect would help the economy via tourism), and some other minor stuff not related to economics.

I've also joined the UN however, and this might be the problem.

In any case, I am having a real issue with the economy, and would like to speak to others with stronger economies to see what they might advise we in Alisle do about it.

When all my nations started out, they had slow economic growth and started relatively low. Let it be known that I shamelessly gutted my private sector and got rid of any semblence of aristocrasy. I found that my economic strength grow through stability. Just give it time and don't send conflicting messages, be either pro- or anti-buisness and you'll have a freightening economy by the time you have a billion citizens, probably earlier.

It's true. I started out with Reasonable, and experienced such depressions as Basket Case and Imploded before I decided to privatize about half of my industries (started out as Democratic Socialist). Since then, I've worked my way up to All-Consuming, which is where I am now.

My economy was a powerhouse, but it dropped to thriving.

Any suggestions?
