This is a poll deciding whether or not to have a regional currency.

If you vote yes, please include a nomination for a currency of your choosing, and we will hold a poll for the actual currency next Wednesday.

The unit makes the most sense and fits well with the rest of the region. Vote for the "unit" and you will most likely gain support from the Constitutional Monarchy of Unitarious (Ankur).

P.S. I had the nation name before the region name :)

I nominate the unit.
I will vote for the unit.
GG.

While a regional currency sounds nice and would seem to add some more substance and uniqueness to our region, I don't particularly see the point of having one when we don't interact with other regions and just one another. It would be similar to having a world currency today, which I don't particularly like the idea of. I don't know specific implications of having a system like that but it doesn't seem right.

However, if there is going to be some form of regional currency I would accept the unit on the grounds that The Constitutional Monarchy of Unitarious changed his national currency to something other than the unit.

I know we are in the vast realm of Unitari, but considering we already have a unitarius country, to name the currency the unit isn't like naming the euro after europe, it's like naming the european currency the Franc (France), besides, credit is the money of the future.

Comperte you said,
"I don't particularly see the point of having one when we don't interact with other regions and just one another."

but you can interact with them, I have! You aren't only restricted to this group, I discussed the UN rez with it's creator, Saint Uriel. I'd probalby be the last person that you should take this advice from but, get out more.

On the fact that using the credit is best, simply because its so realistic, and the credit makes more since in the fact that we have more of an idea about what it is. rather than the "unit" to which i can relate no physical image to. I think the credit is good because its just all around better. I would probably prefer to use the credit rather than the dollar here in real life.

Let me explain the credit...

Credits are a bunch of numbers that represent how much you own. There is no cent or dollar like our today's currency, only credits. So for example: a candy bar could cost 1 credit, while a car would cost 60,000 credits. Similar to credit card, but only there are no decimals to represent cents. In comparison to the dollar, it would be the same, only with the credit you wont need the cents because you can carry large amount of "credits" with you were ever you go, while a dollar or cent, you are limited to how much of it in it's "cash" form you can carry. So a "credit" only has one form, and it is that of a card, you don’t have like, debit, or tender. And you can carry multiple cards, with multiple amounts of money on them and such.

Its really simple, and its the currency of the future.
