Breaking News--The Armed Republic of Ejiptos, since their liberation, has proceeded to become the most economically powerful nation in the region. Still angry that none of its neighbors in the region helped to defend their country, they remain isolated and unwilling to cooperate in any international agreements put forth by others in the region.
Old News--Mystery solved? The Dread King Darumas was overthrown by an unknown individual in a dark hooded cloak. A huge volcano formed and then immediately erupted in the center of The Dread King Darumas' capital city, killing almost all inhabitants. The new order that has arisen there calls itself "The Kingdom of Hell". All nations in the region are wary of this new development and remain cautious to interact with this powerful new force.
Old News--We have just received word that The Most Serene Republic of The Dread King Darumas has halted its war in Ejiptos and all troops are retreating back over the river into their homeland. We have no information as to why this is happening but citizens in Ejiptos are rejoicing in the streets as the Prime Minister has come out of hiding and the capital city is restored.
Old News--City after city in Ejiptos is being razed and pillaged by the ravenous armies of The Dread King Darumas. It is commonplace to see Ejiptosian citizens being forced into overpacked freight trains bound for slave camps or death camps by darkly clad soldiers. The prime minister of Ejiptos has gone into hiding somewhere in the mountains and the capital city of Ejiptos has been relocated to a tiny obscure village in the nearly deserted western half of the country. Foreign aid will be required if Ejiptos is to survive the war but no nations in the region have answered their desperate cry.
Old News--The tides have turned in the war between Ejiptos and The Dread King Darumas now that Darumas has broken through Ejiptos' first line of defense. The Dread King has captured Triverteka, one of the larger cities in Ejiptos and also the location of their main military base. Ejiptos is calling for foreign aid from other nations in the region but as of yet, none have answered the call.
Old News--The Most Serene Republic of The Dread King Darumas has launched a massive military campaign against the Armed Republic of Ejiptos. Their forces are clashing along the southern fork of the Tri-Fork River and our current conclusion based on our information is that Ejiptos is winning slightly and managing to defend its borders.
