Scroll Islands (http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index.cgi/79898/page=display_region) is a collection of tropical islands in the middle of a vast azure ocean, gifted with exceptional weather and beautiful geography. The 76-odd nations in the islands are on informal, friendly terms with each other, and enjoy the ability to legislate without the interference of other members of the region. The members of Scroll Islands are active in the UN, and hold regular internal elections to make sure that they are represented fairly.
Scroll Islands is a haven for those of any creed, culture, or political leaning, and happily accepts almost all styles of members, be they active or not. Although we've submitted an application to join the EAA, a Defender organisation, that won't affect people who choose not to get involved with defending (though it does mean we can't accept aspiring Invaders). We've existed since early last year, and at our peak consisted of over 200 nations. Though we suffered a setback in the Autumn of last year, as of late we've been expanding rapidly.
Scroll Islands is on friendly terms with many other regions, in particular the West Pacific. Anyone is welcome on our forums, member nations or no, so feel free to stop by and have a look around (http://s6.invisionfree.com/we_stand_united/index.php?act=site)
