I really do not see a point to it, and what do you do once you have invaded a region?

It's trying to monopolise the game. If you controlled every region, no one could really argue with you

Theres also the aim of attracting members. A region which is feared is gonna attract people who are intrested in the idea of "invading".

But there's the disadvantage of the region you've successfully conquered just evacuating to a brand new region founded by the most active member and password-protected until the invaders get distracted by a shiny thing and go away.

Well once you have invaded another nation, and you've become the UN delegate what can you do?

The Dodgy']Well once you have invaded another nation, and you've become the UN delegate what can you do?As much as the Founder lets you do. If the Founder never disabled Delegate Access to Regional Control, you can eject nations, password-protect the region, and edit the Factbook Entry. If, on the other hand, the Founder doesn't let you, you can't really do anything except have more votes in the UN.

I know, because I was just made Delegate of my region and the founder disabled Delegate Access to Regional Control so I couldn't eject him. (Not like I'd want to; he endorsed me.)

Some signs would indicate that such an event in a region's history is beneficial in re-awaking interest and establishing solidarity more firmly... so perhaps, the invaders are even contributing usefully to the regions they crash?
