Population increase rate
I just started a few days ago and I've noticed that my population is increasing at 1 million/day. I'm wondering if this is constant or if it changes. Some countries have +5 billion, so I'm assuming that it does increase eventually.

I think it's that when you get over 10 million pop. you population will increase by a random integer in between 5 - 10 million per day.

Your population increases by roughly 10-20% when you're new, with a minimum of 1 million/day. It will basically increase by 10%, then round up to the next million.
When your population reaches between 50-80 million, growth levels off to a more constant 5-8 million per day.

Occasionally, I've seen 8 million, though it seems to be fairly uncommon.
I've seen an increase of 10 million once, but maybe that was a population bug.

My population used to grow at 10 million each year. But it then slowed down to 7 million per year.
